Lilly was very nervous. It had been three years since she'd been on a date and she wasn't sure how to act. To say that she was stressed would be an understatement. How on earth did she even get herself into this mess? Why did she have to bet on something like sports when it was so obvious that she'd lose. Lilly knew nothing about sports. Sure she'd dated a few people who were into sports some time in the past and you would have thought that she would have picked up a few things by then. So now she had to go out with a guy like Matt of all people.

Deep inside Lilly knew why she had done it. She'd been trying so hard to catch Matt's attention for the past few months and this had just seemed like an opportunity to get him to notice her. She felt ashamed of herself and how she was reduced to acting stupid for a man to notice her. There was a time when a lot of men would be at her door begging her to go out of them, but she had shamelessly turned them all down.

She was still a beautiful woman. That was what she saw when she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She didn't think she was drop dead gorgeous but beautiful enough to earn herself the attention of a guy like Matt. Only now when she had gotten it through losing a bet, she felt afraid. What if he didn't like her as much as she wanted him to. As much as she had liked him for the past few months she had known him yet tried to hide it.
