I looked at the big volume that sat in front of me and could not recommend any words on the leafs. I allowed my eyes to travel from the book and stare at the wall clock only to notice how late it was. I still had a lot to cover but had to call it a night because of the late night hour. I slammed, my books shut before massaging the migraine that was now making my eyes hurt. I always got anxious before an exam and I had a few the very next day and that made me as nervous as a chicken on Viagra. After deciding on taking a break and heading back to my room, a thought crossed my mind that made me blush. Ted was on night duty today and seeing him would lighten up my day. I walked out of the library and headed for the dorm with my bag slung over my shoulder.

I loved what I was studying in campus. I had decided to major in political science and it was by far the most interesting course in the world. Despite what everyone thought I was actually having the time of my life. However it was very demanding and as I walked I thought of the night ahead and worried if I had covered everything I needed I needed to know. My mind raced back to the different topics the lecturer had covered and all the various cases he had sited along with research materials that will help me prove my case. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I did not hear Ted's voice sound through the stillness of the night until he called out my name.
